Queensway Group (Point.a Hotels) purchased 29 Clements Lane in the City of London in 2025 to convert it into a hotel. It initially comprised office and retail spaces totalling 60,368ft² (5,599m²) NIA, arranged over basement, ground and six upper floors. Led by The Manser Practice the design team were engaged to establish feasibility for conversion to a Point.a hotel through RIBA stages 2-4, with planning consent achieved in Q1 2026. The building went through a vacant period, allowing strip out works & surveys while awaiting a start. TR designed the Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health services to including Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) heat pumps to each room/key, leak detection, central ventilation, low voltage distribution and life safety systems, supported by a bespoke generator solution for back-up power.
