Arthur Stanley House is a mixed use development on Tottenham Street and Tottenham Mews, within the borough of Camden, comprising of a refurbishment and new build extension. Thornton Reynolds provided Mechanical Electrical and Public health engineering throughout. The existing building was formerly a UCL hospital rheumatology wing, which had been derelict for a number of years. Westbrook Partners acquired the long lease and Development Managed the building refurbishment with an extension to the rear and top floor, providing 52,000 ft² of lettable commercial workplace space. A new build residential block was built adjacent as part of the scheme. The new residential block provided private sale apartments and two social housing units at ground.

We [TR] supported Allford Hall Monaghan Morris (AHMM) in achieving a major improvement to the façade, with opening windows added to the Tottenham Street elevation for mixed mode ventilation and exposed the existing brick facing into the office. The internal original soffit of ‘clay pots’ was carefully and meticulously restored, contrasted by the new oak engineered floor throughout.

Carrowmore Properties Development Managed the residential, Radcliffes coordinated the whole scheme as Project Managers, Leslie Clarke were quantity surveyor’s and Heyne Tillet Steel (HTS) structural engineers.
