The Low Carbon Workplace Partnership includes Stanhope, Carbon Trust and Threadneedle investors. This £7m refurbishment was leased entirely by Barclays for “Rise” an incubator space for small businesses. Low carbon solutions with air handling units within the ceiling at every floor, occupancy responsive fresh air, lighting, heating and cooling.
Benefit: The energy performance certificate (EPC) was improved to a ‘B’ and a BREEAM rating of ‘Excellent’.
