Working with Architect, Gensler and the client we prepared a RIBA Stage 2 planning application for this 59-apartment development in Hanwell. On the site of the original Marshall Amps shop, the branding for the building has been styled on the famous amplifier brand. Incorporating MVHR, utility cupboards and heating connection from a central boiler room, there will be potential to connect the scheme to local community heating once available.
Benefit: New efficient MVHR system allows for connection to community heating system and ensures the retention of heat in the building to minimise energy needed for heating through use of a central heat exchange.
