New £4m RIBA award winning boarding facility for the college by Allies and Morrison, which follows the construction of the Simon Smith Building completed the previous year. This new building achieved BREAM Excellent and an EPC ‘A’ rating. Thornton Reynolds provided Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health design for the facility, which accommodates 80 students. The building services installed in the building include underfloor heating, air source heat pumps and solar hot water heating.
