The Charter Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) has been appointed as the new scheme administrator for NABERS UK.
Many in construction are likely already familiar with CIBSE and their dedication to advancing the standards of building performance and sustainability. CIBSE’s expertise in energy efficiency and decarbonisation aligns seamlessly with our goals for NABERS UK Scheme and with their rich history of leadership in the UK building sector CIBSE will bring invaluable experience to our program.
As NABERS UK transition to CIBSE’s administration, they assure that every effort will be made to ensure a seamless process. In the coming weeks BRE and CIBSE will be working closely together to enable a smooth transition, ensure that NABERS UK returns to full operations as soon as possible, and support the next phase of growth for the Scheme.
Please note that BRE will contact all current Design for Performance Agreement holders and Assessor Licence holders directly, to arrange the novation (transfer) of these to CIBSE, over the next few weeks.
