10-11 Lancaster Gate is currently awaiting planning committee meeting approval following submission in the summer of 2023.
The existing building has been un-used for a few years, in need of considerable restoration, with limited fixed services. It previously operated as a hotel, which was naturally ventilated, with gas fired boilers for heating and hot water. In order to meet the Clients proposals to provide high end residential apartments, the systems identified within the following report have been proposed to achieve this and align with ‘market expectations’. This includes the installation of mechanical ventilation throughout, and heating and cooling via air source heat pumps. To facilitate the new plant, an open top acoustic enclosure is proposed at roof level
